ABOUT US

Marion Desmarchelier

After graduating from the Veterinary School of Lyon in 2003, I moved to Quebec to perform an internship and then a residency in zoological medicine. I got board-certified by the American College of Zoological Medicine in 2009, by the European College of Zoological Medicine (Zoo Health Management) in 2013 and by the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists in 2018. My passion for teaching and research led me to an academic career first at the Atlantic Veterinary College of the University of Prince Edward Island and now at the Faculté de médecine vétérinaire of the Université de Montréal. I live on a hobby farm “Aux Petits Fruits d’Harmony” in Quebec, with my husband and our daughter, horses, donkey, goats, chicken, cats and bees. Outside of working with animals, I love growing flowers, horseback riding, skiing, rock climbing and photography.
